A mandate is not compulsory. It is a request. It only becomes law once you follow through and comply with the mandate. Thanks, Weaver.

  2. ian says:

Yes indeed. Good find Weaver, good information to have.

I will write this out in a longer version which people can use.

A mandate is issued under Roman or Civil Law. It is not issued under statutory law passed by Parliament and signed by the Queen.

A mandate is a written command given to an agent to perform some service gratuitously (i.e.voluntarily)

Only if the mandated agent agrees to the proposed mandate, follows through and carries out the command does the command then become mandatory, and becomes enforceable.

If the mandatee does not agree, the proposed mandate is void. Should the mandator try to enforce a voided mandate through exclusion or other sanction, the wronged mandatee is able to bring a legal action for compensation.

    Damages could be substantial.

That is my understanding too. As Weaver quite rightly points out below then, all of these mandates [guidelines] can be IGNORED by you. Which is what I have done all along, I’ve never complied with any of them. In effect the mandates are VOLUNTARY, it’s up to you. Nobody can MAKE you do anything under them, police included

If you stand under natural law [God’s law, which is ALWAYS superior to statute law] and you refuse to comply then, you are untouchable. Problem is that most police don’t understand that, so best not engage with them all if you can avoid it. Best avoid confrontation and use a get out like “I am exempt” or something similar according to the circumstances

      • pete fairhurst says:

From Dictionary.com, Mandate is defined as follows:

7 Roman and Civil Law. a contract by which one engages gratuitously to perform services for another.

8 (in modern civil law) any contract by which a person undertakes to perform services for another.

        7 “Gratuitously”

        8 “Undertakes”

In other words, your AGREEMENT is required

So if you don’t agree and don’t act as told then, the mandate is not actionable

        Thanks pete, very clear.

  4. Weaver says:

If more people become emboldened to understand that they never did have to adhere to any of these diktats then we can overturn these unnecessary measures.

Thanks for that Tap. Copied and saved.
