We entered the baby boom years after WWII which tapered off in the sixties. Those babies born then are now of pensionable age in their 60s – late 70s and are – as far as the government is concerned – a strain on the national purse through pension payouts, providing care assistance and healthcare through the NHS. Therefore, how convenient that the 😷 pandemic should come along, hmm 🤔, and the first to be offered the kill shot was the over 70s with a DNR notice if they entered a hospital Covid ward. Next in the line of fire was the 50s – 60s age group and so on down to the 5 year olds.
It’s clear to me that the government do not have our best interests at heart and that if they could reduce the pensionable population they would be in a win win situation saving billions on pension payout, care assistance and saving the NHS.
I agree 100% Gordon. That the vast majority were forced to pay contributions all their working lives, supposedly towards any pension they received, incidentally the lowest in Europe, matters not one jot.
The Sad Truth about – MIDAZOLAM- The scandal that cannot be ignored

Michael is a great guy
Culling the beneficiaries of the unfunded pension liability & boosting coffers with IHT taxes. National insurance is a fraud as the govt have stolen the funds which could have been invested to pay for the pensions. The cull is to cover their tracks.
I don’t doubt you S’.
