    There are ways to deal with these things. I briefly knew a fellow from Manchester maybe thirty years ago, who told me a CCTV camera had been placed atop a 60ft metal pole, and the estate residents stole a bus and backed into it at speed several times to bring it down. It never went back up. Some will be difficult to get at, but likely as not they’ll be so high or distant as to make the footage useless.
