I must confess looks to me he did a runner. Heat was on and he bottled it.

I agree Dragonwolf. To me he didn’t strike me as a shooting type, yet was trying to get guns. Not saying it’s wrong. He also said he now realised why the Port Arthur FF was used to disarm Australians. He ranted at police brutality and seemed to advocate violence against them and the government. Now if someone advocates violence against someone then is trying to buy a gun, it could be construed as he wanted to shoot them.

Not judging his opinions, or my impression of them, it’s the running thing. To me, it looked like he legged it, and is now trying to keep his credibility. My opinion only, and I will accept that many won’t share it.

A bit harsh maybe? If he genuinely thought he was being set up as a false flag patsie, he did the right thing by getting out. Probably not wise to tell the world he’s stashed a pile of silver on his property, but hopefully his son will get it before someone else does loots the place.

      • ian says:

Possibly a bit harsh as you say Sabremesh. I don’t know if it would be reasonable to assume you were going to be set up, it comes across as excuses to me. I may be wrong, and possibly he had reason to believe this. I just think it’s an excuse rather than a reason. I know I’m being harsh, but he set himself up as guide to others. If he said I’m sorry guys I bottled it, I’d be there picking him up. If circumstances or information changes, I may change my mind. I tend to run on instinct.

Well, if you’re young and fit and quite happy to die, no worries, make your stand. Talk’s cheap.

    • ian says:

He talked the talk Nixon and advocated it to others. That’s the difference.I have two internet acquaintances one a friend, in the US who have got out. If you can then why not. Max is different.

      • Alan Vaughn says:

Yes I must concur ian, that I share your scepticism and suspicions. I’ve been quite an admiring a follower of Max since the covid scamdemic started and until now, always trusted him. What he said about the shooter’s licence and his ridiculous story about the coppers trying to set him up was totally unnecessary.
I don’t blame him for leaving the totalitarian governed basket-case of Australia, I would too if I could, but why the BS excuses? He doesn’t need to justify anything to us.
If there was any truth in what he claims, about being ‘a person of interest’ to the police, he would have been intercepted and arrested at Brisbane Airport when he tried to leave. Simple as that really.

He’s an asylum seeker in a strange place, can’t speak the language, existing on the kindness of strangers, with no way of making a living. Walk a mile in his shoes before casting your stones.

    • ian says:

Ok Nixon, I get it, but don’t need you telling me what to do. You do your thing, and I’ll do mine. I like Max too, but it doesn’t mean I think he can do no wrong.
