The debt we owe to David Graeber
Fri 12:12 pm +01:00, 25 Sep 2020A few weeks ago, on 2nd September 2020 David Greaber passed away. I’m attaching a link to a tribute to his work.
For my own view, what George Orwell was to the State and Karl Marx was to the Corporation (they wrote the manuals), David Graeber was to the individual. That’s not just his view ofthe individual per se, it also observes the power of stupid people in large numbers. And perhaps his thoughts were never more relevant than at this present time.
That he was sacked from Yale for being an individual may say more than all the obituaries from those who wronged him.
