This petition signed by you – along with more than 572,000 other supporters – asking policy-makers to reject calls for mandatory coronavirus vaccination, was delivered this Monday to the UK’s Minister for Health and Social Care.

LifeSite’s London correspondent, Mr. Paul Smeaton, presented the petition to Matt Hancock, MP, at his offices in London.

When making the delivery, Smeaton said, in part: “No state, no government, has the right to impose a mandatory vaccination for the coronavirus, or any other virus.”

Since we started our petition, we have heard conflicting views from different public sources.

In the UK, the Health Secretary and the Government are still mulling it over, stopping short of saying that it will be compulsory…but, leaving the door open.

In the United States, there are also conflicting views on the matter.

On the positive side, President Trump has indicated that any vaccine will not be mandatory.

But, on the negative side, the New York State Bar Association (representing lawyers in New York State) issued a report calling for mandatory vaccination.

So, we need to be vigilant!

In the UK, we will continue to apply pressure on the Health Secretary’s office and on the PM’s office.

And, in the meantime, we’ll continue to keep this petition active.
