The Use Of The Word….

A laugh is always welcome to fend off the hate and the fear. Words can be funny.

The fashion label French Connection, UK branch, use FCUK. I remember years ago at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Soho London, seeing a blues artist, I think it was Memphis Slim, singing a song called…
“F-U-C-K, Tell Her That I Love Her”
(… in case, for those with hard of phonetic hearing, “If You See Kay…”)
… I just tried to google it without luck. Anyway, you might laugh at this. I did.
I’ve written the word backwards as to not offend the easily offendable politically correct sensitives, not that there are many who visit TAP, but still, I do know TAP prefers clean and courteous rather than veer toward the vulgar:
The use word ‘kcuF’:
P.S. instead of “The use of the word…”, the video is titled without ‘of the’. Is this Indian English?

    Ha ha.

It all stared back in the pilgrim days…when someone was caught doing the business in public they were put in stocks with a sign that said, “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge”, eventually it became known for it’s acronym….F.U.C.K.

Now we have Hollywood… FUBAR 😉
