RAF admits they attacked Syrian troops in support of ISIS. No apology. Get Britain out of there – NOW!

British air force admits involvement in airstrikes which hit Syrian govt troops.

Britain’s military has admitted involvement in an airstrike in eastern Syria which reportedly killed over 60 Syrian Army troops.
Subsequent reports suggest a Reaper drone may have been used.

The strike in the area of Deir el-Zor was originally attributed to Australian, US and Danish forces operating as part of the US-led coalition but the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) tweeted on Monday that it had been involved.

MOD statement on involvement in recent air strike.

An MoD spokesman said: “We can confirm that the UK participated in the recent coalition air strike in Syria, south of Dayr az Zawr on Saturday, and we are fully cooperating with the coalition investigation.

On Monday afternoon Defence Command Denmark, the headquarters of the Danish military, also admitted its involvement in the deadly strike.

Two Danish F-16s participated along with other nations’ aircraft in these attacks. The attack was immediately stopped when a report from the Russian side said that a Syrian military position had been hit,” a statement said.

It is of course unfortunate if the coalition mistakenly struck anything other than ISIL forces,” the statement continued.

It was reported Sunday that sixty-two Syrian soldiers were killed and over 100 injured in the airstrike by the US-led coalition, Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman, Major-General Igor Konashenkov, said, citing information received from the Syrian General Command.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the aircraft which carried out the bombings had entered Syrian airspace from the territory of Iraq.

Four strikes against Syrian positions was performed by two F-16 jet fighters and two A-10 support aircraft, it added.

“If the airstrike was caused by the wrong coordinates of targets than it’s a direct consequence of the stubborn unwillingness of the American side to coordinate with Russia in its actions against terrorist groups in Syria,” Konashenkov stressed.

UK airstrikes have been officially carried out as part of Operation Shader in Syria since a vote in favour in December 2015.

A previous vote in 2013 did not authorize air strikes.

TAP – Time for another bloody vote, I would say.  Britain has no right to be there.  Killing Syrian government forces in cooperation with ISIS terrorists is unforgivable.  Get Britain out, or shoot our planes down.  We are a bunch of war criminals, and Theresa May should get us out of there.  Cameron has gone. So should we be gone.

UK forces have been operating from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. It emerged in August that British Special Forces were also operating on the ground in the country.

TAP – Get Britain out.  We are supporting terrorists.  Where is our Parliament?

TAP – These strikes were coordinated with ISIS.  We are is support of terrorism within a sovereign country.  Time to shoot down the RAF.  Theresa May should recall Parliament to pull Britain out of Syria, and get the SAS out of it too.

Join the British armed forces today – and kill foreigners! You might even get a commemorative gong!

Aren’t you proud to be British TAP?!

    “God save our gracious Queen…”

    The mind boggles.

I’m a Filipino! Duterte is my president. British and Americans can all hang.

On the appropriate keyboard, Erdogan becomes Erdoğan…. air-dough-an… there’s a hat on the silent g.
He is pragmatic and powerful. His current status ain’t bad for a boy who once sold simit bread rings in the street. I am not a Turk. Whatever he does, he could perhaps point the finger at my country and ask who are we to judge him or them. It is so tempting to say more…

Has Duterte eliminated anyone on his journey to power, or is that just unfounded gossip?

He wiped out the organised criminals in his CIty of Davao making it crime-free. That’s why the Filipino people voted him in. They’re sick of 10% of the population becoming addicts and committing crime. He’s finding that many government people are behind the drug dealing, of course. The ordinary people in the Philippines are so happy to be released from the curse of the drugs industry, and see crime going down, you wouldn’t believe it. Now I know how to pronounce Erdo(g)han. Thank you.

I wish I could report as interesting things about Tayyip Erdogan.

The word ‘drug’ has been so stigmatised… how about Beşiktaş – besh-ik-tash.
The BBC football guys say bes-ik-tas.

My Turkish is crap really, but I can convince most English people otherwise.

        I think an e-mail is needed…
