Looks Like The UK Has Its New PM (She’s The Only Candidate Left)

Published on Jul 11, 2016

It looks like the United Kingdom has its new prime minister, now that Theresa May is the only candidate left. Her opponent, Andrea Leadsom, ended her campaign Monday.

Leadsom said: “Theresa May carries over 60 percent of support from the Parliamentary party. She is ideally placed to implement Brexit on the best possible terms for the British people, and she has promised that she will do so.”

The day before her withdrawal, Leadsom apologized to May for her controversial argument that being a mother would make her a better prime minister.

May has served as the country’s home secretary since 2010. She actually supported the “remain” side in the Brexit referendum but is also considered a Euroskeptic and didn’t advocate prominently for the staying in the European Union.

May said, “Brexit means Brexit, and we’re going to make a success of it.” Among other issues, May also promised to address racial inequality and laid out a plan to put consumers and workers on the boards of directors for major companies.

The Conservative Party, which both May and Leadsom belong to, has typically been the party for enterprise. But May has said it can’t be “anything goes” for big business.

It was not immediately clear if there will still be a vote now that Leadsom has pulled out of the race. Members of the Conservative Party had already whittled down the field from five candidates to those two.

David Cameron announced later on Monday that he’ll be stepping down as prime minister on Wednesday.

The U.K.’s formal withdrawal from the European Union, and the negotiation process that goes with it, won’t happen before Cameron’s successor is put in office.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I was sure that the Head of State aka QE2 appointed Prime Ministers and not arrogant Obedient Servants of ‘The Royal Crown’. Their collective hubris is astonishing. Do they seriously believe that this is remotely acceptable?

If a Prime Minister steps down early and voluntarily like the dead-pig-loving Cameron has done, then a General Election should be automatic as opposed to an unelected and potentially unelectable shoe-in like May.

A PM/Deputy PM ‘ticket’ should be part of a General Election campaign, rather than this absolute nonsense that the UK finds itself embroiled in. It’s totally unacceptable and one can only hope that the Head of State rejects the desperate situation, dissolves parliament and orders a General Election. Pigs might fly?

You are correct Aldous. In theory The Monarch appoints the PM. However in practice Queenie just rubber stamps the appointment rather like the treasonous EU treaties abrogating common law.

Has the queen accepted mediatisation? –

The stench of a rigged race for PM is in the air. No need to consult the rank and file of the party once all the other runners in the race drop out … mighty convenient that.

She is being set up to fail, the brexit negotiations will be tough, she will make lots of bad deals & hopefully a few good ones but ultimately she will fail as PM. Boris knew whoever takes the next PM will be humiliated so wisely removed himself from the race, I’ll be betting on him for the next PM after May gets ruined on the international stage. Either way who fucking cares, there is no good politician right? They’re all treasonous self serving greedy devious pedo’s to me & always will be.

Opposition parties call for early general election following Theresa May ‘coronation’

Theresa May is set to become the new Prime Minister unopposed

It’s all looking quite distasteful isn’t it? A totally unelected PM. Illuminati Queenie may be 90 but seems to have spoken. Is May a tranny fall ‘guy’ to spectacularly lose the next General Election? My wife swears May’s a man. May does appear to let its female mask slip occasionally and wife could well be right. May deserves closer scrutiny, especially as she/it has no kids. Why no kids? Does it not believe in perpetuating the Human Race?

At Last, a Jewish Prime Minister

I think he would have done too well if he continued to campaign, he has more public support than anyone else in politics at the moment. He is the only reason millions vote UKIP, anyone who bashes the banks is good in my books.
