Leadsom’s a fraud. Tory MPs and the public are being conned.

Three years ago, Mrs Leadsom – the leading rival to Theresa May’s bid to become the next Prime Minister – said: ‘I’m going to nail my colours to the mast here: I don’t think the UK should leave the EU. I think it would be a disaster for our economy and it would lead to a decade of economic and political uncertainty at a time when the tectonic plates of global success are moving.

It has to be Liam Fox.

Why does it have to be any of them? What a shock it would be if millions did not vote.
The line up is appalling, why on earth would you have any one of them in a role of leaderships? Leadsom promotes fracking and the EU, nothing more than a corporate lobbyist.

Whatever happened to the ‘Deputy Prime Minister’ position that Minister of Titles Michael Heseltine once infamously held to satisfy his ego and vanity after being passed over (by the men in grey suits) for ever so dull and grey John Major following his successful ousting of Margaret Thatcher? Was Deputy PM abolished?

I can’t help but think that Je Suis Juif May is being positioned to win the leadership contest so that she can lose the next General Election in spectacular fashion. Is this also tied in with why they are desperately trying to get Jeremy Corbyn out, in order to make Labour unbeatable – though I personally think Labour would win it with Corby anyway?

All it needs is a (almost certain to follow) vote of no confidence in the Commons if Remain in the EUSSR Theresa May is elected Tory leader and unelected PM. I know the 650 MP turkeys don’t usually vote for Christmas – as many of them will lose their lucrative parasitical jobs – but I think the ‘real powers that be’ will make enough of them an offer they cannot refuse if they hesitate to join the vote of no confidence lobby.

I keep hearing talk of an early General Election which is strange seeing as the UK now has fixed term parliaments of five years, the next GE not due until Thursday 7 May 2020.

Clearly an unelected (and unelectable) PM cannot go on until then and May’s Premiership could be one of the shortest in history the way things are looking for the internecine obsessed war-faring Tories. Not to worry, Je Suis Juif May will get the usual fat PM’s pension, which I believe one gets for even being in the job for just a single day.

    Next United Kingdom general election

    The next general election in the United Kingdom is scheduled to be held on Thursday 7 May 2020, in line with the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011;

it may be held at an earlier date in the event of a vote of no confidence or similar exceptional circumstances.

It will elect the 57th Parliament of the United Kingdom.

It’s a real shame that Spitting Image is no longer around, though I suppose it was ‘of its time’ and approaching its sell by date when the last episode was aired. They would have had a field day with what’s happening in UK politics at present.

If you can imagine Andrea Leadsom in the role of Kenneth Baker and Theresa May in the role of Gerald Kaufman, this short clip of Jeremy Paxman interviewing the two sums up today’s political theatre, sham democracy and slimy, creepy, otherwise unemployable politicians.

Who is creepier Andrea Leadsom or Theresa May? (1:16)

Theresa May is a Great Self-Promoter, But a Terrible Home Secretary

Reproduced in full below is a Telegraph article by Jonathan Foreman* headlined “Theresa May is a great self-promoter, but a terrible Home Secretary”, which was pulled after pressure from her campaign. It is excoriating…

Guido understands that an article by Jonathan Foreman headlined “Theresa May is a great self-promoter, but a terrible Home Secretary” was pulled after pressure from her campaign. It has gone down the memory hole…

I wasn’t aware the public were getting a look-in. They’re just spectators while a prime minister who has no intention of troubling to go to the country is imposed on them as a result of a dubious referendum. Frankly, I’d much rather have Angela Merkel running the country than Liam Fox or Theresa May. And that’s really what the whole referendum was about – corrupt Tories and their foreign backers who didn’t want any oversight from the EU.
