Hillary Clinton: “We now finally are where we need to be in Syria.”
In the 1st video below from Russia Today, we take a look at a new drone flyby showing the utter destruction of the city of Damascus, Syria, the latest sign that many believe prove we’re now watching Biblical prophecy unfolding as the ancient city of Damascus lies in a ruinous heap.
Gary Franchi with Next News Network looks in the 2nd video at Russia’s new superweapon that has the US quite concerned, concerned enough for the US Air Force to be holding ‘full spectrum nuclear wargames’ as shared in the 3rd video below, also from Franchi.
With the city of Damascus in ruins and total destruction as seen in this heart-breaking video, are we watching Biblical prophecy unfolding as the ‘burden of Damascus’ is fullfilled and Damascus ‘taken away’ from being a city? The before and after pictures of Damascus below show us what words alone never could.
According to Sputnik News, the US is quite unhappy about the widespread proliferation of S-400 air defense systems going global with the sale of five Almaz-Antey S-400 Triumf air and missile defense systems to Indian, that country joining China as recent purchasers of the systems.
We’re told that these Russian weapons are ‘beasts’ and ‘complete game changers’.:
“The proliferation of weapons like the S-400 and its S-300 predecessor pose a serious challenge to US and allied air power,” Dave Majumdar, defense editor for the National Interest, writes. “Both weapons systems are highly mobile, networked and can protect vast areas. Effectively, weapons like the S-400 and S-300 make an entire region inaccessible to conventional non-stealthy combat aircraft.”
This “problem” is “going to get worse over time” as countries such as Iran will obtain similar weapon systems, Majumdar claims, adding that the Islamic republic has already begun to receive “a version of the S-300.”
“A complete game changer for all fourth-gen aircraft [like the F-15, F-16 and F/A-18]. That thing is a beast and you don’t want to get near it,” a senior US Marine Corps aviator told Majumdar regarding S-300, adding that this weapon series is a serious threat to every aircraft except for the most advanced stealth fighters and bombers.
In the 3rd video, Franchi looks at the full-spectrum nuclear war games recently held by the US military as outlined below originally published in this story from Sputnik News. We agree, it’s always good to be prepared – is there something else that we should read into this recent drills with everything else that is unfolding all around us?
The US Air Force Global Strike Command recently conducted a large-scale nuclear war game at Maxwell Air Force Base, in the state of Alabama, to assess service capabilities to meet future threats.
The exercise explored AFGSC’s ability to operate across the full spectrum of a nuclear war, from conventional to nuclear weapon missions.
“We want to wargame the entirety of our capabilities,” Brigadier General Ferdinand Stoss, AFGSC’s director for requirements, plans and programs, stated to Defense News in a December 9 interview. “We want to see if we are getting the bang for the buck we need.”
The Air Force nuclear modernization plan includes building a next-generation bomber; upgrading its fleet of B-1, B-52 and B-2 stealth bombers; and replacing the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles with a ground-based strategic deterrent missile system.
With Seymour Hersch recently warning that there is nobody anymore within the US military to stop Barack Obama from his ‘cold war’ views of Russia and a potential global conflict and Obama’s new Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff General Joseph Dunford calling Russia our most ‘existential threat’, even more so than ISIS (who according to experts is here in America), are we witnessing the final days prior to the conflict in Syria going global and the fullfillment of Biblical prophecy written long ago? From Hersch.:
Obama now has a more compliant Pentagon. There will be no more indirect challenges from the military leadership to his policy of disdain for Assad and support for Erdoğan. (Former CJCS) Dempsey and his associates remain mystified by Obama’s continued public defence of Erdoğan, given the American intelligence community’s strong case against him – and the evidence that Obama, in private, accepts that case. ‘We know what you’re doing with the radicals in Syria,’ the president told Erdoğan’s intelligence chief at a tense meeting at the White House (as I reported in the LRB of 17 April 2014). The Joint Chiefs and the DIA were constantly telling Washington’s leadership of the jihadist threat in Syria, and of Turkey’s support for it. The message was never listened to. Why not?
The signs we continue to see every day lead us to believe we’re getting ever closer to a moment in time warned of long ago – we pray that those who are making global decisions have humanity’s best interests in mind. Judging by the past actions of many of them, we have very good reason to be concerned.
On a political level, it has often been said that the problems that we face will not be solved by the minds that created them. They need to look at that on a global level in making decisions on where to go in Syria and elsewhere around the world and Americans need to look at that in deciding who we want to be our next president… if we make it that far.
