In a terrible world there is still great beauty to be discovered
Wed 9:40 pm +00:00, 16 Dec 2015 3Written in 1939 by Rodrigo, the Concerto of Aranjuez has the most beautifully haunting second movement, recorded here. Julian Bream, the best classical guitarist of his generation, extracts every drop of emotion the piece contains. Better than medicine, this is music that heals and moves you at the same time, if you allow.

This is the best classical guitarist of his generation:

Sorry about Vancouver Steve. I’m just the monkey, as Roger Waters would say.
Thanks for that Tap. I clicked on the You Tube link just to have a peek but couldn’t listen or look away once it started. Visions of Don Quixote and tilting at windmills with some of the images of old Spain well away from the Costas.
Spain is another nation systematically molested and raped by the NWO oinkers along with the other Mediterranean PIGS economies of Portugal, Italy and Greece.
I’m not sure why one of the posters on You Tube thinks the guitar is out of tune. It sounds perfect to me. However, could it have something to do with the fact that these days ‘A’ is tuned to 440 Hz whereas in Beethoven’s day, it was tuned at 432 Hz?
We all listen to music much of the time. Has the NWO found a way to piss us all off by redefining ‘A’ upwards by a mere 8 Hz? ‘A’ at 440 Hz is not right. Why would they do that?
Beethoven, even when going deaf, would have noticed the difference and would have made the orchestra retune. He was so dissatisfied with the orchestra’s performance at one concert that he angrily stopped them and ordered: “Begin again!” The audience wildly applauded.
Here’s Why You Should Consider Converting Your Music To A=432 Hz

Lovely piece of music to start the day.
