Dinosaur discovered only 4000 years old

(NaturalNews) A recent archaeological discovery that throws a wrench into the conventional theory of evolution has reportedly cost a California professor his job. Mark Armitage, a former scientist at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), was reportedly fired after claiming to have unearthed a dinosaur fossil that still contains soft, flexible tissue, suggesting that it can’t be millions of years old.

A 30-year veteran in his field, Armitage has published many studies over the years in peer-reviewed journals. One of his most recent was published last July, pertaining to a discovery he made at the Hell Creek Formation excavation site in Montana. According to The Christian Post, Armitage was evaluating a triceratops horn fossil when he came across preserved soft tissue.

A lawsuit recently filed in Armitage’s defense describes his reaction to the discovery as “fascinated,” since flexible matter has never before been discovered on a dinosaur fossil. Naturally, Armitage published his findings — in this case, he published them in the Elsevier journal Acta Histochemica — and proceeded to share his findings with his students.

Not long after, Armitage was approached by a CSUN faculty head who reportedly shouted at him, “We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department!” Armitage’s finding, of course, contradicts the evolutionary theory that CSUN has embraced for decades, and there doesn’t appear to be any room for discussion on the matter, since he was also let go from his position.

“Terminating an employee because of [his] religious views is completely inappropriate and illegal,” stated Armitage’s lawyer, Brad Dacus, in a public statement. “But doing so in an attempt to silence scientific speech at a public university is even more alarming. This should be a wakeup call and warning to the entire world of academia.”

The dinosaurs were pre-flood beasts and mostly died out in the flood. Noah took them on the Ark but the post-flood environment and the new phenomena called weather was too harsh and severe for them and they did not survive.

All this billions of years stuff is crap and nonsense – the earth is young.

    oh wait? :/

come on… Im putting some effort into this! (not getting a chance to cover everything in the detail I would like)

How do you get a Triceratops on an ark, apart from “very carefully?”

  4. Triceratops, like all creatures was small when young… Noah supposedly took very young – hence small – dinos.

    Was Noah a woman?

Noah did not get the ark going onto the waters , as he was refused a passport.
    bloody jesuits !

After dealing with capturing, caging and stowing away the Mammoths, Cave Bears and Sabre-Toothed Tigers of Northern Europe plus the smaller things like sheep and dogs, wildcats and weasels and all the African animals…. Noah also popped over to Australia on the rising flood and lifted Kangaroos, Koala Bears, Duck-Billed Platypussies… then hopped over to Tasmania for a few Marsupial Wolves and Tasmanian Devils.
It is rumoured that Noah and The Ark also had to return twice to the North American Continent after he’d missed some animals. The first return visit was to pick up Possums (which he’d forgotten first time around) and the second time was for a cluster of stuff (Bison, Sasquatch, some buried Cicadas and the elusive Mountain Cougar).

It has been suggested that because of the ever dwindling space available on Noah’s Ark that he took one look at the Argentinasaurus and “I think we are going to have to let that one go…”. He then took this line with all the rest of the dinosaurs.

I hope this helps explain things.

While claiming to be an agnostic myself, I have watched that film “no room for intelligence” about other scientists with impeccable credentials having been fired for similar reasons. And there seems to be evidence of co-existence of humans and dinosaurs, like embedded footprints that must have congealed at the same time, not millions of years apart etc. What is striking in this case is that if CSUN were sure of their “science” they could have easily refuted the man, esp. by re-reviewing the matter of the soft tissue. After all, C14-dating and dendrochronologies have also often been successfully challenged and sometimes the initial findings were wrong. But the party resorting to old-style “religious” inquisition methods seems to be the faculty, not the researcher!

  8. This is the second time soft tissue has been found in dino bones.

If this is true, it definitely means they were alive only a few thousand years ago, and the theory that they died out 65 million years ago is even less likely than the Noah’s ark theory.

The crocodile is a dinosaur and that’s still around so is the elephant, rhino etc – all descendants from dino’s

My son and I spotted two lizards basking in the sun on some moorland on an island off the West Coast of Scotland. This was last month in July 2014. We actually have very clear photographs and a short piece of video.

  11. Marco Polo wrote that he saw tamed dragons (dinos old name) pulling carts in China.

  12. Pangea was one great landmass which split after the flood “in the days of peleg” that’s why the continents fit like a jigsaw – so this explains isolated species.
Dino tendons and blood vessels can be googled from Dr Schweitzer’s find supposedly 70 million years old.
The high priests of evolution admit to the find and the proof but are now trying to find the conditions that led to the preservation of dino mince for 70 million years rather than admit the long time scale is wrong.
The Dr is a Christian but does not believe in the 6000 year time scale timescale.

I find it difficult in this age of science that people still give credence to Noah’s ark as if it was an actual event in history. It is nothing but myth and story telling. As a professional geneticist I cannot stress how important evolutionary theory is to modern biological thought and how it is supported by a wealth of evidence from a number of disciplines.

  14. ‘This age of science’. Lol.

Hi Flaxen, as a scientist, I’d have thought you’d have addressed the content of the article, rather than the strawman argument of ‘Noahs Ark’.

Evolution requires long timescales. We’re told 65M Years since the dinos – in which time everything we see today evolved. If soft tissue is found in dino bones – what does that mean?

How can there have been 65M yrs if soft tissue is found? How reliable are those dating methods?

Why is it that depictions of dinosaurs are found in ancient human art? How can that be possible? How is it that fosslised human & dino footprints are found together in multiple places around the world?

If you do the research yourself, rather than just believing what you’ve been indoctrinated with, you’ll find your ‘science’ is also a religion – with dogma, priests, faith and lies. Like ‘Global warming’, ‘Dark matter’, ‘The Big Bang’, ‘Evolution’. You’ll find they’re all at best unproven – at worst deliberate fraud.

Please see ‘ooparts’ and ‘evidence humans and dinosaurs coexisted’.

  15. Flaxen can you give me one example of evolution since no one else has.
There has been no change of one species to another. Bears did not become whales by getting their gonads sprayed with cosmic rays.
How many perfect hits on the three billion DNA code would a bear need to become a porpoise or a deer to become a whale – this is pure fantasy not even backed up by the fossil evidence.
The evidence of the surface of the earth is 100% that of a global flood . Water borne sediments full of drowned creatures which became fossils is what happens in a flood. The fossils are the same as the creatures we see today as Darwin admitted – no such evidence of simple to complex. Trilobites at the top of Mt Everest were complex – there is no “simple” living cell.

    Hi Folks,
You might want to take a look at my ‘place’ where I posted ‘The Theory of Evolution’. In truth, the post is not really about evolution but about the scientific method Vs theology. I welcome comments. I do no moderate comments or delete comments regardless of content. I believe in free speech. However, if you do decide to comment I would be grateful if you could keep it civil. I treat folk with respect and courtesy and would welcome the same. I relish well considered debate.

  17. Flaxen – creationists look for proof that the bible is true and the evidence found verifies this truth.
Evolutionists look for proof of their theory but cant find any as famous quotes from honest atheist scientists will testify.
No satisfactory mechanism or evidence has been found for evolution changing one species into another.
Darwin mistook natural breeding for evolution since he lacked in knowledge that we now have.
Later apostles of the evolutionary theology hypothesised that genetic damage from cosmic rays could magically design things like whale sonar by rearranging about a billion DNA codes – by accident ?

Dogs have bred billions of times from the original two canine creatures but the poodle and the wolf are still dogs. None can fly or take to life in the oceans.
To believe in evolution takes more faith than believing in the 6 days of creation.
Everyone knows that selective breeding can produce adaptation such as swimming iguanas or finches that have built in DNA codes for adapting beaks within a few generations. But they are still iguanas and finches which have adapted within their created genome or “kinds” as genesis calls them.
Genetic damage cannot add useful information to a genome but nearly always damages it or has a neutral effect. So we are never going to see a flying pig or humans evolving wings to save on air fares.

  18. Flaxen – the other supposed mechanism of evolution by natural selection is an impossibility .
The fastest antelope that escapes the lion is “selected” but lo and behold it is still the antelope – its DNA is unchanged – indeed it has been kept pure. So natural selection cannot add to the DNA and the genome of a “KIND”.
For say a deer to evolve into a whale by slow additions or changes to its DNA code would mean about several hundred million successful transitionals would have to have existed – where are they. And these transitionals would have to be in the trillions if we all came from the magical single cell in the muddy fairy pool.

If a “human/ape” decided that he was a cut above the tribe he would still have to find a female ape at the same stage of transition to breed with – hard when there was no dating agencies.
