A personal note to you Sir, a heartfelt thanks as your blog has been at the forefront of up-to-the-minute reporting on the potentially cataclysmic events of this past week concerning Syria. Having risen a bit late as it’s week-end over here and opened up the laptop i am so relieved and somewhat moved emotionally at this wonderful news of the slap down, humiliation of cameron vague etc. and of course, the halting (for now) of this insane rush to attack Syria.
Indeed, the Sky News mouthpiece talking with a female conservative MP this morning was obviously more concerned that poor cameron had been humiliated by the house then the reasons behind the reality of the vote!!
Thanks for the great and tremendously important work you do by simply collating and publishing the facts as you do. I believe we may just have reached a point in our history when people will look back and say….”This was surely their Aleksander Potemkin moment”
have a wonderful week-end,
TAP – It’s a reprieve at least for now. The nutters in the security services no doubt have a nasty false flag attack up their sleeves to punish MPs for their folly in not rushing into war. The media is trying its utmost to reverse the decision. See this morning’s Times leader.
I agree with you, David. Maybe the people are at last awake to how these events stack up, and they want to get into control. They must march on Saturday in big numbers. Cameron must go. He’s as guilty as Blair. Farage is calling this right. Maybe it will surge his vote once more.
