Subject: Re: XXXXX child sexual abuse case
Dear Superintendent Norman

As the lead officer in Domestic Violence and Child Sexual Exploitation for South Yorkshire Police as stated on the itinerary that I saw yesterday, I am confused as to why my daughter XXXXX‘s evidence of child sexual abuse, clearly given by her, and reviewed by yourself, failed to make it to the CPS even upon your personal assurance, that that was where it was going

I felt that I had to write as I saw that you have been invited by Women’s Aid to speak on the subject above at Warwick University this coming Thursday and I have to say I nearly fell off my chair when I saw your name.

You may now be aware that there are 3 complaints, held by South Yorkshire Disciplinary & Complaints regarding your handling of the “review” and I find it preposterous that you have the nerve to stand in front of the whole room including the Director of Public Prosecutions Keir Starmer, who is also speaking, when you have lied to my partner and myself regarding your intentions with this file.

If you actually care about the subject that you are due to speak about, then I ask you, why does an alleged sexual abuser of a child remain under the radar of the Independent Crown Prosecution Service but who was questioned three times by SYP on several counts of child sexual assaults?

I hope that when you address the audience, probably including many victims, you spend a moment thinking about my daughter who at age 9, relies on people like you to protect her.

Yours sincerely

Victoria Haigh

12 years ago in Kings Lynn a police sergeant named David Thompson plea bargained and pleaded guilty to harrasing women during the course of his work and in the station, he pleased gyulity to this so charges that he had sex with underage girls at the provident st youth club be dropped, let off at the same time was his broth Michael Thompson who was manager at the loacl sorting office, both men were masons as was another man Frederick Seaman who was printing an obscene monthly pamphlet of child images
