200,000 page downloads in a week

Google do all they can to stymie our efforts on The Tap, while allowing us to use their blogger system. They report page view stats and this week was our biggest yet at 200,000 page views in 7 days.  June’s taken off like a rocket.

Nice to see WASP coming back in.  He’s got an eye for a story.  If he’d just hurry up and finish all his DIY round his country mansion, we could all relax again, as he’d keep the blog humming.  That said, Osiris is proving a useful regular supplier of stories.  I don’t always credit him with his posts as he says he’s not bothered.  I’m assuming he’s male, but that might be doing her an injustice.  I’ve never met or spoken to 99% of the people who send in material to the blog.

Let’s hope Ben Fellows survives all the current threats he’s under and that he reappears soon.  I’ve had posts suggesting he’s managed opposition, which I chose not to publish.  I’d be very surprised.  No one seems more determined and angry than him with the treatment the elites mete out to us.  As Julia said, everyone is only a part of the story, and has faults in their worldview.  In the end, each of us is responsible for taking our own decisions.  The material we publish is not claimed to be proven information, but food for thought, and a lot more use than what’s placed in the main media with the intention of deceiving us.

The Tap Blog is a collective of like-minded researchers and writers who’ve joined forces to distribute information and voice opinions avoided by the world’s media.

  1. You’re already doing a great job with the website and the blog. I love the content

here and I’m always glad to come back and read some toughts on photography – be it

gear, shooting or something else, loved the recent video for Samsung. I love that

it isn’t a gear review site. I’d suggest you keep doing what you are and adding

some odd piece of gear you found interesting and think people don’t know enough

about or don’t use it enough or in the right way.
If someone wants a review there are already sites that do them and are doing only

that. This site isn’t that and it should never be.It’s not like it’s hard to find

    a review today for anything.

You will be overtaking the Guardian soon.
