Shared on Facebook, thanks, will see if I get any response! My youngest did not have the MMR after I twigged what was going on. He got measles and mumps. Measles is quite a nasty illness, and they do recover. But the child or baby needs CARE. Nursing, love, attention, 24 hours. No medicines, no drugs, just plenty of mother love. Modern living doesn’t have any time for this, everything is supposed to run to schedule, booked in diaries. That’s one of the attractions of the vaccine program, a vaccine can be scheduled in and dealt with in a planned life. It’s the same attraction with caesarians. You can book a date in the diary, fit it in around your other commitments.
Our culture of running our lives by schedules and diary appointments contributes to the uptake of vaccines.
