Is your ‘health’ authority fluoridating your water?

National Pure Water Association <>

Dear Henry

Apologies for the extreme delay in responding to your message below.  With so much to do and so few people available to do the necessary work of our Association the last 2-3 years have flown byYou have by now probably found an answer to your query but in case you’re still looking for information, all supplies will contain some naturally occurring fluoride. Where supplies are artificially fluoridated in the UK, industrial grade, not pharmaceutical grade, fluorosilicic acid will be added to raise the level of fluoride to 1mg/litre or one part per million (ppm) – the so-called ‘optimal level’.  At this time five UK water companies medicate their customers with fluorosilicic acid – United Utilities, Northumbrian Water, Anglian Water, Severn Trent Water and South Staffordshire Water.  Unfortunately, there isn’t a national database of fluoridated postcodes but most water company websites now have a water quality section that will give details for a given postcode.  This Drinking Water Inspectorate map will give you some idea where supplies are artificially fluoridated –   A more detailed map is attached.

I attach our latest newsletter fyi.  Previous editions can be found on our website as can some of our recent work.  I also attach our response to the recent Department of Health consultation on fluoridation proposals to which we appended our evidence to the UK Parliament Health Committee’s enquiry on Public Health.

Raw phosphate ore contains high concentrations of fluoride. When this ore is processed into water-soluble phosphate (via the addition of sulfuric acid), the fluoride content of the ore is vaporized into the air, forming highly toxic gaseous compounds (hydrogen fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride),fluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) – to fluoridate water.
Fluorosilicic acid is composed of tetrafluorosiliciate gas and other species of fluorine gases captured in pollution scrubbers and concentrated into a 23% solution during wet process
Fluoridating drinking water with recovered pollution is a cost-effective means of disposing of toxic waste. The fluorosilicic acid would otherwise be classified as a hazardous toxic waste on the Superfund Priorities List of toxic substances that pose the most significant risk to human health and the greatest potential liability for manufacturers.
Phosphate fertilizer manufacturing and mining are not environment friendly operations. Fluorides and radionuclides are the primary toxic pollutants from the manufacture of phosphate fertilizer
Radium wastes from filtration systems at phosphate fertilizer facilities are among the most radioactive types of naturally occurring radioactive material
The product is not “fluorine” or “fluoride” as proponents state: It is a pollution concentrate. Fluorine is only one captured pollutant comprising about 19% of the total product
Fluoride is not fluoride its a pollution concentrate, giving something a name does’nt change this fact
Research about fluoride is primarily focussed on teeth with little examination of other systemic effects (i.e., upon enzymes, bone, brain, thyroid, pineal gland, etc)
Hearing of “fluorine” or “fluoride” most people now think instantly of dentistry, of dental caries or the different ways of fluoride application to prevent that disorder. But these terms are not inventions of dentistry, nor was the use of fluorides originally in any way related to that profession, this is not just about teeth.
Could it be that after more than 65 years, promoters of water fluoridation simply don’t want to look too closely because they might not like what the science shows? Not looking means never finding.
People prize what they don’t understand at least as much as what they do.
I am not a chemist nor am i a scientist but this didnt stop me reaserching the subject, and i strongly suggest others do the same

Hi Tap, totally off Topic, but interesting nonetheless, Relating to our out of Control Legal System, & Myopia, I would assume.

    Good info on Fluorides.

Very important that alternative toothpastes be used instead without Fluoride, or simple use bicarbonate of soda.

Fluorine is the most reactive of the halides and displaces essential iodine throughout the whole body.
It shuts down over 70 biochemical pathways altering the production of hormones, enzymes etc as outlined in the 1st comment.

Ways to improve detoxification of F
    boric acid supplements, borax salt
keep yourself iodised – look up Dr Brownstein re: iodine

look them up and use responsibly – your own health is in your own hands.
