TB up 8% in a year in humans. DEFRA deliberately spreading TB

It’s incredible. The government is deliberately spreading tuberculosis around the country’s farms. DEFRA is not taking measures like quarantine, freezing movement of suspect animals and ensuring any outbreaks don’t spread elsewhere. This has to be deliberate.

This example came in this morning. It is not the first we have heard of. From Robert Good evening, I see DEFRA are allowing a sale of TB infected cattle to be go ahead from a farm in Devon on Tuesday 21 august 11.30 am Willsworthy,Whitstone, Holsworthy, Devon EX22 6TE TB restricted dairy cattle of 120 head. Kivells are the selling agents. How can this be allowed to happen and protect the health of the nation is beyond me. Robert

Please be clearer on the terminology here.

TB death rate in humans has dropped 40% between 1990 and 2010 and is still on the decline in 2012.

Bovine TB (a separate disease)is being tackled by DEFRA in accordance to the Bovine TB Eradication Programme…

With a cull on badgers in the worst effected areas.

So in short, TB is actually down. Defra are tackling the spread of Bovine TB with over 5.4 Million tests on cattle in 2011 and many more this year.

If a farmer is trying to sell infected cattle there would be hefty sanctions, fines and a bill of over £30,000 to do a complete breakdown of TB on a farm of which £10,000 at least has to be paid by the farm owner.

Your throwing a big accusation at a farm without any solid proof. This could wreck his livelihood by spreading this malicious rumour.

so come on lets see your evidence of this sale?

Shame on you, twisting news to suit your own gains is one thing but branding a farm, and posting an address online without any concrete to back it up is slander.

Nice try. The herd is being sold as described. It has not been quarantined.

DEFRA are masters at PR. Badgers have been protected while TB has spread across Britain. It is now rising in the human population in the suburbs. Transfering from badgers to humans via their pet cats.

The source was correct about a farm in South Wales doing the same thing last month. The DEFRA vet has been suspended pending an investigation. They know what they’re doing…The vet wouldn’t act outside instructions, yet deniability has to be maintained to this iniqitous programme of spreading TB deliberately.
