Stats in Feb have broken the records.
Direct traffic is 150,000 page downloads. B4IN mirror site (beforeitsnews) logged 200,000 page downloads on our posts in addition. We had 3600 clickthroughs from Japan on the post on the 9.0 Fukushima earthquake never having happened. If I take a conservative 1 in a 100 for the clickthrough rate from the Japanese blogs that copied the post, that would make over 360,000 reads there also. (The post was rushed out of the week’s top ten list by Google with indecent haste).
The February total might be as high as 700,000. Anyway we’d settle for 500,000 in a short month, on a blog that registered 100,000 a year two years back.
Inevitably the blowback is now full-on with people registering all kinds of difficulties with access. Don’t worry.
The show goes on.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way. The Tap gets about 66% new readers every day, which means we are not a private cult blog with mostly repeating readership, but one of general interest attracting people searching for explanations. I write only a fraction of the material myself, and merely recycle what interest me, or what the blog’s many writers decide to feature.
