The Tap Blog – Britain’s Fastest Rising Political Blog In Q4 2010

My Wikio Ranking went from 351 in October to 212 in January. I doubt many other political blogs did that well!

I’ve taken to using commenters’ pieces as blog posts as so much good stuff is being written in the comments.

The rise of The Tap is a joint effort with many people feeding in good material.

That said, there have also been some rather odd commenters in recent days. They’re getting sensitive about the upcoming vote in Parliament on the EU BIll, it seems.

It’s good to see traffic increasing.  Google gives The Tap a total of 22,000 page downloads a month currently.  And to think that I used to 1000 a month in 2006 when I started!  It is great that so much good material is being sent in to The Tap by readers.  It makes blogging into a learning experience, if not a little exhausting trying to read all the suggested links and watch all the videos.  It improves the quality of the blog though, I hope you’d agree, having stuff sent in from Derek, Brit, Orlando, Fred, Tim and others.  Shame about Atlas Shrugged, but the anger and endless talk of death is a bit much to take on a daily basis!  Perhaps he’ll leave us alone for a while.

The Tap Blog is a collective of like-minded researchers and writers who’ve joined forces to distribute information and voice opinions avoided by the world’s media.
