No blogging today. Just done 14 hour flight landing Amsterdam in snow from tropics. Later on arrive Manchester, which is open again after closing yesterday.

Otherwise I see a story on Open Europe about more politicians opening up on The Lisbon Treaty, this time French. I’ll check that out tomorrow.

More troubles for the Euro over Greece, an attempted coup d’état against Brown, and Mandelson rallying to his support. Been a busy politics day all told. Mandelson’s planning to lead the party after the election, and to outmanoeuvre Harriet by getting all the others involved in coup attempts.

Ken from Gloucester says a new poll is reporting in shortly. No doubt more shrinkage of the Conservative lead as required by the masters of the universe.

Better not delay. Blogging is not a good excuse for missing a connecting flight.

UPDATE – Flight delayed while they clear snow off the runway.

Aye, that will be the Global Warming then.

There are 5 runways at Schiphol. After a day of snow works, only one was open. They were de-icing planes with jet steam, which is something I haven’t seen before.

    Manchester was -10 deg C.

The snow in the lane near the house was cleared by the frarmer with his tractor yesterday. Many blocked into their homes.

    Yes. This indoubtedly global warming.

Ref the poll. Other people in the comments now using ‘narrative compliant’ – even if they are being sarky, you are changing the language (which is what matters). A small win, but a win.

Thanks for crediting me with a small victory, Brian. Yes, I had noticed that it was ‘NC’!
