WW1 was the result of a conspiracy hatched in 1891.

One of the conspirators was Cecil Rhodes, an associate of Lord Rothschild.  His mining wealth was uncountable.  He attended All Souls College, Oxford, to enhance his respectability.  Rhodes planned a secret society gradually acquiring the wealth of the world.  William T Stead wrote a book describing the plan.  1902 Rhodes dies leaving his plan to others fully funded.  One of the aims is to bring America back into the Empire.  Another was British culture to be enforced all around the world.  They claimed publicly they wanted to produce world peace, when in fact they wanted war.

The Boer War was entirely the secret society’s doing.  The so-called Round Table Group, after Rhodes, was run by Viscount Milner.  The group targeted Germany.
