World War II Veteran Returns Flag To Japan After 73 Years

I know nothing of OBON… please don’t tell me it’s Soros funded or something…. but, I like this.
I have paintings in a Koshimoto Museum dedicated to the memory of Ertuğrul, an Ottoman frigate sunk by a storm off the coast of Japan. The Japanese returned the few survivors back to what is modern Turkey and a pact of friendship has lasted since. I attended the 125th anniversary commemoration. Goodness, if only people would take more charge from governments.
