I went into hi-tech PR and marketing because I saw what was happening to journalism – even print journalism. That was a mistake. I wonder how many like me saw the rot and sidelined their dream instead of wading into the madness and trying to make a go of it. Now I’m 42-years-old and have damaged nerves from being over-stressed and overworked in the corporate hi-tech world – I would have rather been injured chasing the truth for however long I was allowed to do it. Too bad. Too late.
