Brian Gerrish and Mike Robinson with today’s news update from the UK Column.

Creative destruction – a Marxist term…. Creative destruction (German: schöpferische Zerstörung), sometimes known as Schumpeter’s gale, is a concept in economics which since the 1950s has become most readily identified with the Austrian-American economist Joseph Schumpeter[1] who derived it from the work of Karl Marx and popularized it as a theory of economic innovation and the business cycle.

  1. Tapestry says:

The UKIP leader was clearly a ‘placed’ appointment from the get go, sent in to discredit the party yet further. Dianne James was the first. Strange thing is Farage supported Bolton, and is now advocating a second In/Out referendum. Was Farage an op from the get-go too? He could be long on Sterling and making a few quid from switching. The subject of money is never far from his heart.

    • Tom74 says:

The Bolton thing stinks. He may well be genuine, if a complete fool, but it was always obvious the girlfriend was a plant – perhaps whatever happened between them is being used as leverage? As to Farage, I suspect his referendum ‘change of heart’ was actually a veiled a threat to the Brexit powerbrokers that if he doesn’t get what he wants (money, influence) it will be full reverse ferret, and Brexit collapses.

  2. Tapestry says:

Bolton’s record does not suggest anything ‘genuine’.

  3. Mr Dude says:

Bolton is as bent as a nine bob note and that bird of his is the most obvious plant I’ve ever seen! It’s all straight out of Thames House’s playbook. They really are taking us for mugs

  4. Mr Dude says:

Why did that pilot who crashed the plane end up threatening Farage?? I always thought that was rather fishy..
