Police. How come the force that’s meant to serve the community has become the enemy of the community?

Video.

Police make allegations against anti-frackers which are outright lies.  Surprise!  Surprise!

Lock-ons at Preston New Rd fracking proposal site.  Resistance is growing, and so is Police violence and bullying.

Tina Louise gives her assessment of the state of the fracking industry, farmers and what’s happening today at Preston New Rd.  She describes the main site as The Gates Of Hell.  Someone buy her a wind baffle for her microphone.

Several teams of lock-ons in sequence kept the Police off balance.

Convoys of Police arrive.  More people needed to overpower the Police tactics.

They stop the activists locking on safely on the site, so they have to lock-on outside the entrance so that the public traffic is inconvenienced.  The Police wave at the truck drivers and give thumbs ups to them.  How come the force that’s meant to serve the community is not the direct enemy of the community?

The drill is still not happening.  Very determined lady!

The video is virtually unwatchable and unintelligible. I watched the 11:59 video nonetheless.
I have no idea what the image is about as there is no caption.
    Fracking sucks. End of.

I’ve added a caption Aldous. Thanks for watching. She communicates well for an amateur activist. The wind noise can be ignored with a little focus of the mind. As you managed! I admire her dedication and that of hundreds of others engaged in this battle.

Suffice to say that: “Ich bin ein Palestinian.”

They’ve had to put up with this shit and much more for nigh on 70 bloody years.

Not many people know this (Wink Wink!) but many/most/if-not-all-by-now police forces in the UK (and no doubt the US) are privately owned by corporations.

E.g. Devon &/or Cornwall are owned by IBM, which you can check out on websites like Dunn & Bradstreet.

When you realize this, it is easy to understand why the police are serving the community less and less and turning their interests to raising income from no victim crimes and protecting corporate interests more and more.

    • Tapestry says:

We are a crop for the corporations to harvest, nothing more. The problem is that unlike earlier generations, we are now aware of the fact, and people don’t wish to be cropped. The corporations are racing to remove democracy. The people are not willing to cooperate with totalitarianism. Something will have to give.

Hopefully, the 3rd and 4th cervical vertebrae of the corporate perps.
