In the evening on August 19 a heavy downpour hit Moscow.
As a result, several streets were flooded in the south of the capital, in particular Kosygin Street and Avenue of 60 years of October. A part of Leninsky Prospekt had to be closed due to the flood, and it resulted in a serious traffic jam.
The capital’s city services have been transferred to non-stop operation mode.
