Boris: Britain would be ‘the frog in the boiling saucepan of water’

Boris Johnson has said Britain would be “the frog in the boiling saucepan of water” if voters choose to remain in the EU in June.

In an interview with the Evening Standard, he said: “We will never be able credibly to argue for any reform in Europe again,” he warned, adding Britain would be “the frog in the boiling saucepan of water”. He went on: “We will be signed up to this thing lock, stock and barrel — hook, line and sinker.”

Mr Johnson said relations with the Prime Minister were “always friendly”.

Asked about Mr Cameron’s attack on him in the Commons Mr Johnson claimed: “I didn’t actually notice. I was so wrapped up in meditation on the European treaties that I’m afraid, whatever it was, passed me by.”

On one of the Telegraph links beneath the main article, Norman Tebbit is for Brexit, I suggest that he might be a gatekeeper. I wouldn’t show Tebbit a birds nest.

His wife was crippled by the CIA at Brighton.

Do you have more info on that Tap, I haven’t ever encountered the Brighton bombing on the internet. I still thought it was the IRA or MI5. If the “establishment” was behind the attack, then perhaps he is on our side

I just found it on here Tap. It would seem I was quick to judge and got it wrong. Tebbit is very likely on our side. Thank you for the prompt.

Gordon Logan made a good post on the Brighton Bombing. Maybe a search would throw it up.
