Lock-ons in progress. Police maintaining silence like zombies, refusing to answer questions about safety of the members of the public inside the camp buildings. Legal observer removed from site by Police. Livestream being broadcast from camp. See link below. Lock-ons could take a day at least to remove. Police not allowing observers access, there to ensure people doing lock-ons are not harmed, or harrassed.
Legal adviser arrives and challenges the Police eviction as illegal. The occupation is temporary, and should not have been subject to the nature of the order issued by the Judge. Police won’t even speak. The legal challenge to the eviction was denied and the Police and the bailiffs refused to speak.
The senior Police officer has left the site, so there is no one there to talk to for the legal team of the protectors.
The legal adviser was arrested and taken to Wrexham Police Station (picture above).
The Police are acting as agents of the corporations, not of the people. The Police won’t talk, or comply with the law.
A supporting wall is being removed with a person sitting above it. There is a potential risk to human life, and officers 2348, 5158 refused to intervene when requested, or even speak. What kind of Police force do we have? A bunch of thugs with not even a single tongue between the lot of them.
Request to help the person at risk was denied by the Officers… Disgusting. They don’t even care about human life, only about their mates in the Freemasons who are all supporting the psychopathic pedophiles.
The Head Bailiff also denied the request to stop the supporting wall being collapsed when a person was being put at risk.
The Police closed the road with no notification. Farmers are unable to go about their business. Quarter mile tailbacks.
The bailiff action is potentially illegal, but no discussion allowed.
This is Wrexham Frackfree. Borras & Holt community protection camp. The Wrexham community says no to fracking.
The Miners Association are coming out in solidarity, saying it’s sacred ground with many miners left behind in the mine after the Gresford Colliery disaster.
Cheers to the lock-ons from outside the camp. Here’s Yellowbelly talking to camera.
The eviction of the anti-fracking ‘protector’ protest camp in Borras appears to be underway this morning.
Around 8:30am police and other vehicles started to assemble by the Commonwood site, with another saying ‘bailiffs present now’.
Frack Free Wrexham have issued an appeal via twitter saying: “Peaceful Protectors needed at camp. Riot vans here. Road apparently blocked from Holt side.”
Several police officers are present at the site, as well as a number of bailiffs. Many of the campaigners are currently filming and livestreaming events live from the scene.
A ‘Legal Observer’ has since been removed from the campaigning camp after trying to gain access to the main site.
You can view a live video stream being broadcast from a mobile phone from the site on this link here.
A timeline of events regarding Wrexham and Fracking can be found on the Frack Free Wrexham website here.
We will update when we have more information.
