Earth has near miss Carrington event

Massive solar flare narrowly misses Earth, EMP disaster barely avoided

The earth barely missed taking a massive solar punch in the teeth two weeks ago, an “electromagnetic pulse” so big that it could have knocked out power, cars and iPhones throughout the United States.
Two EMP experts told Secrets that the EMP flashed through earth’s typical orbit around the sun about two weeks before the planet got there.
“The world escaped an EMP catastrophe,” said Henry Cooper, who led strategic arms negotiations with the Soviet Union under President Reagan, and who now heads High Frontier, a group pushing for missile defense.
“There had been a near miss about two weeks ago, a Carrington-class coronal mass ejection crossed the orbit of the Earth and basically just missed us,” said Peter Vincent Pry, who served on the Congressional EMP Threat Commission from 2001-2008. He was referring to the 1859 EMP named after astronomer Richard Carrington that melted telegraph lines in Europe and North America.
“Basically this is a Russian roulette thing,” added Pry. “We narrowly escape from a Carrington-class disaster.”
Pry, Cooper, and former CIA Director James Woolsey have been recently demanding that Washington prepare the nation’s electric grid for an EMP, either from the sun or an enemy’s nuclear bomb. They want the 2,000-3,000 transformers in the grid protected with a high-tech metal box and spares ready to rebuild the system. Woolsey said knocking out just 20 would shut down electricity to parts of the nation “for a long time.”
TAP – Gordon Logan warned that a Carrington event was being prepared by the elites who would head for their well-supplied underground cities while everyone on the surface just starves.  Was this an attempt at a Carrington event – or EMP disaster?  Is the earth’s magnetosphere being temporarily disabled to ensure mamimum destruction?

Ho hum. It’s not a ‘Carrington Event’ you should be looking for, or even an EMP,http://www.wnd.com/2012/08/emp-attack-90-of-americans-would-be-dead/
It’s more along the lines of Chelyabinsk. Dust-loading in the upper atmosphere is one of the factors altering the magnetosphere and climate. In view of the release of the Queen’s speech, might we suspect they have something on the scope?

I wrote some time ago to a friend in the states expressing my concern that NASA was habitually putting out statements concerning imminent EMP threats. I explained that these things do happen but not as often as NASA is trying to make out and it looks like the government is preparing the people for an event. The event of course being that they would launch a high altitude nuclear strike over their country knocking out the grid and frying electronics with the inevitable result of depopulating their own country, initiating NWG and blaming Iran.
I asked my friend why Americans constantly live in paranoia and fear to which the reply was MONEY.

    Gordon.

You might be nearer than you think Gordon.
All American embassy’s across the Middle East have been closed.
    September is quite near.

This appears to have been the solar storm that we had been waiting for. The world was very lucky indeed. The sun blew its top off. It came three months later than expected. The blast, which affected about 90 degrees of the northern limb of the sun, missed us by about 15 degrees of the ecliptic. Billions of people would have died in the ensuing chaos and there was almost total silence from the media apart from the Daily Mail. There had been a few grim prognostications from NASA in recent months. My concern about the possible simultaneous removal of the magnetosphere was inspired by the concerns of scientists in 2007 when the magnetosphere did indeed disappear, to the astonishment of geophysicists. The technology for this (HAARP) now exists, according to physicist Rosalie Bertell. If there is one thing that we are all agreed upon, it is that the world is run by psychopaths that have very little in common with the rest of us.
