No one is calling the NSA’s gutting of the
Fourth Amendment a coup, but perhaps
This would be the second major coup
by a US intelligence agency, the first
one being the coup that put a bullet
through the head of an elected president
– and got away with it.
The blanket surveillance and recording
of all calls and e-mails is bad, but more
alarming from an immediate, practical
point of view is that the NSA specifically
targeted US generals, judges, Congressmen,
government officials – and Barack Obama.
Can the total acceptance of this agencies
blatant criminal behavior be explained
