First Tap Blog Dot Com Dot AU Spotted

Just a couple of days ago I saw a sitemeter reference to www.the-tap.blogspot.co.nz. Today I saw the first Australian google address at www.the-tap.blogspot.com.au

I’ve had an offer to host the blog in the USA from one source, if I’m interested. I’ve had another to set us up in wordpress. We don’t know for sure yet if the split addresses means gradual reduction of reach around the place.

It was odd getting the contact from the US today as well, with the long email from Gregory Pitchford, which seemed to be trying to attack Alex Jones, rather than tell a simple personal story as billed. The earlier post on whether Alex Jones was a reliable channel received 15,000 reads on B4IN, which might have got someone interested.

As we get about 4000 reads on here, and about 10-15,000 daily reads on B4IN, it’s inevitable we get attention. The email accuses of him of creating ‘panic porn’. I don’t buy that entirely. I just put Alex’ style down to how Americans work on media. Max Kleiser ain’t a lot different.

We Brits are meant to be a bit more circumspect. I’m not typical. In fact my mother came from Australia, which probably explains a lot. I’ll take this opportunity to send a ‘Gudday’ to the rellies!

The Tap Blog is a collective of like-minded researchers and writers who’ve joined forces to distribute information and voice opinions avoided by the world’s media.
